 consists of members of a nuclear or
extended family.
 Members of the households get involve in
family affairs and family issues that require
collective decisions.
– Strong family ties– allows reciprocity, loyalty,
support, and interdependence
– Kanya-kanya Syndrome– inciting envy and
competitiveness
