companies?
They are many regulations and procedures of Health and
safety intended to prevent accident or public environments.
Also health and safety are important in companies,
especially in corporations like SABIC Because it protects
employees, visitors and customers. Moreover It makes good
business sense and may increase costs and profitability.

What are the policies of Sabic in terms of

health and safety of employees?

 procedures and instructions regulating the company’s relationship with

stakeholders to protect all parties rights.
 Second,exercising efforts to reduce the impact of any damages to related
party.
 Third,providing suitable insurance coverage for possible damages.
 Also, they are (PPE)Personal Protective Equipment and this means to protect
employees from workplace hazards.Moreover,they are traffic violations are
not allowed.For examples,exceeding the speed limit,failure to fasten seat
belt,driving in the wrong direction parking at reserved parking area.

What are programs or activities done by the
company to promote health and safety?

 This year in the UK, our Teesside facility signed up to the “Time to Change”
pledge, promoting mental health at work.
 learning nationwide recognition from Redcar & Cleveland Mind. In India, we
continued to support the They See, They Learn program, a large-scale,
comprehensive eye-care program for children in Delhi, Bengaluru.
 The program improves education by ensuring that students aged 6 to 18 can
clearly see blackboards and other learning materials in class.
 The programe provides screening, visioncorrection, and free glasses, helping
more than 150,000 students to date.

company?

 There are many reasons make health and safety important.

 First,to complete any work without Risk and accident.
 Second,the are many material are dangerous.
 For instance,plastics,gasoline, Metals and many other things.Third,to
minimize percent of injuries.
 Also,to help your self and Colleagues tonavoidn any risk associated with gases
and chemicals which is available in the industrial Company.
 Finally,to achieve operation excellence which is mean providing high
profitability and low losses.

What are the achievements of the company

in promoting health and safety?
 Sabic have a lot of achievements in health and safety. For example, 200
million safe work hours without lost-time injury for construction of its mega-
engineering projects.
 Some 20 projects executed at more than 15 different manufacturing
affiliates and sites contributed to this achievement.
 SABIC delivers on that core value year after year without negative impacts by
maintaining a strong culture of environment, health, safety and security –
going beyond simple compliance.
 The goal for the company to be A compliance culture alone can lead to
complacency, we seek to create a culture in which our employees are
proactively meeting safety requirements in their daily actions and decisions.
