Special Sensation

Special sensory receptors are in the location of

special organs such as vision and hearing that serve to protect the
surrounding tissue. Based on the source of the sensation, the
receptor is divided into the exteroseptor, proprioceptors, and
interceptors.
Mechanism of Sensation
The process of the sensation mechanism begins with the stimulus,
transduction, conduction or implus and intregration. The existence of
environmental changes is a stimulus that can activate the sensory nerve. The
stimulus will be received by the nerve endings attached to the refeptor, where
at each end of the nerve attaches one refeptor. The existence of the refseptor on
the stimulus skin from the inside and outside will be mendektesi accordance
with the type of sensation.
Vision of Sight
The eye is an organ for wrapping and is very
sensitive to light because there is a photoreceptor. The nerve
inplus of the photoceptor stimulation is below to the brain in
the occipital lobe of the cerebrum where the sensation of
vision is changed to perception. The vision receptors can
respond to one million different stimuli every second.
Eye Structure
The eyeball is in a concave space on the
skull bone called orbit. Orbit is composed of seven skull
bones, namely the frontal bone, lachrimalis, etmoid,
zigomatikum, maxilla, sphenoid and palatin that
support, protects and protects the eyes. In orbit there are
holes of the foramen optic for the optic nerve trajectory
and the optalmic artery and superior orbital fissures that
serve for the trajectory of the safaf and the artery of the
eye muscle.
Vision Mechanism
1. The light reflected by the object is captured by the eye,
penetrating the cornea and transmitted through the pupil.

2. The intensity of the light that has been set by the pupil is
passed through the lens of the eye.

3. The accommodation power of the eyepiece regulates the light

to fall right in the yellow spots.

4. In yellow spots, light is received by conical cells and stem

cells, then delivered to the brain.

5. The light delivered to the brain will be translated by the brain

so that we can know what we see.
Hearing Sense
Part of a special sensory organ capable of
detecting various sound stimuli. Hearing is very
important in everyday conversation and communication.
Ogan who plays a role in the sense of hearing is the ear.
Ear Structure

• Outer Ears
• Middle Ear
• Deep Ears
The Mechanism of Hearing
Taste senses
The Sense of Smell
• Nose is the senses we use to recognize the
surroundings or something from the resulting
aroma.
• In our noses there are many cells
chemoreceptor to recognize the smell.
