 Introduction

 Online Jewellery Shop is basically used to build an application program

which help people to find and buy latest design of jewellery with different
categories like Gold Silver, Diamond . It is useful in the way that it makes an
easier way to buy products online.

Today most of the jewellery shop is useful for shopping site. The admin have
lots of paper work and they are using desktop, spread sheet like MS Excel
application to manage data in soft copy about user record. In this proposed
jewellery System it will run in server and user can handle whole the
registration activities. It has facilities to generate various types of reports (like
pdf, excel) which are required by the management during event organizing.
 This is a Online Shopping System JAVA live project. Company’s client wants to
develop a website to increase his business of handlooms . Till now he was doing
his business offline. Now a day’s its an internet world so if you want to run a
business successfully you must have to make it online. So this is a website related
to handloombusiness. Main problem comes when a customer is at a far away
location and he is not able to come to visit the place. So if one wants to buy
handloomhandloomsareehe first needs to visit number the shop and tell them
the whole details about that and tell them specifications of their needs, the
shopkeeper then acts as intermediator and make the work done by charging
their amount. Another is that customer who wants to buyhandloom sarees
have to visit the site to see the different handloom sareeswhich is quite a
cumbersome task. Through this project it is tried to make this thing easy by
selling and buying handloom sareeswhile sitting at their own places and getting
the contacts of the shopkeeper through the site.
Existing System:

 In existing system shopping can done in a manual way,

the customer has to go for shopping, and then he is
having the possibility to choose the products what ever
he wants.
 It is a time consuming process.
 Thus, the system has to be automated
 Proposed System
 Shopping cart is one of the important facility provided in online
shopping, this lets customer to browse different goods and services
and once they select an item topurchase they can place the item in
shopping cart, and continue browsing till the final selectionhave in the
database. Limited access is available to the operator. As this is generic
software it can be used by a wide variety of outlets (Retailers and
Wholesalers) to automate the process of manually maintaining the
records related to the subject of maintaining the stock and cash flow.


Admin:

 In our application, admin responsibility is to maintain

website and to activate and deactivate the Users. Users
will register in our website, but they can access our
application or website features only when they are
activated by admin.
 Admin can add the products.
 View order products.
 View feedback.
User:

 User is another module of our project. User can search the sarees specifying
the saree name , its category and also user can search the handlooms by
specifying the saree name , its branch.
 Also user can view the location of the shop in a map and handlooms
details and can add his favorite handloom.

Front-End: HTML,CSS,JSP,JDBC

Back-End: MySQL

Web Server: Apache SERVER.
