 Library was established in the year 2006 with 1000


number of books.
 The main library has all departmental books.

 The library is led by Mr. Kausal Mahajan, Librarian.

 Computerized circulation counter is made available for


issue, return and renewal of books.
 The facility of “OpenAccesssystem“ adopted in the
library
 Awell-stocked library is an asset to the college. 2

OBJECTIVES
 To acquire, organize and update the library collection to
support teaching-learning process.

 To encourage students to read beyond the requirements


of the curriculum.

knowledge of information sources, and the use of
technology in accessing information needed to
strengthen their instruction, research and extension.

 Toprovide instruction and assistance in the effective use 7


of learning resources / services.

 The Department of Library aims to become the


model library amongthe state.

 The Library intends to incorporate the latest


technology and adopt user friendly approach towards
studentsand faculty.

 The Library intends to offer comprehensive service


related to dissemination of knowledge.

 10:30 am to 05:30 pm (Mon-Fri)

 10:30 am to 02:30 pm (Sat)

LIBRARY COMMITTEE
 Library committee is formed in the beginning of every
academic year by the principal in consultation with the staff
members.
 For addition to library collection and other decisions are
taken by the library committee twice in an academic year.
