OBJECTIVES

• To create a mental health friendly environment in schools with child centric model by
involving Parents and Teachers.

• To equipped children with the life skills such as dealing with peer pressure, stress and
emotional turbulence management.

• To be aware of the myths and realities of mental illness,

• To exhibit a realistic and positive understanding of mental illness.

RATIONALE
• 7.1% of children aged 3-17 years (approximately 4.4 million) have diagnosed anxiety.

• 3.2% of children aged 3-17 years (approximately 1.9 million) have diagnosed depression.

• Need of the hour but not many organisations working on it.
