 If you do not think clearly, ”You won’t write


clearly”.

 Clear, disciplined thinking is the key to


effective writing.

 If you want to communicate effectively with


readers, you must provide solid evidence for
any point you make.
 In Writing, any idea that you advance must be
supported with specific reasons or details.

 Think of your reader as a reasonable people.

 They will not take your views on faith, but


they are willing to accept what you say as
long as you support it.
 The word “Essay” means an “Attempt”.

 The Essay is a short literary composition.

 It states the problem from an individual point


of view.

 It is light and pleasant in tone.

 It should start with several sentences that attract the
readers interest.

 It should advance the Central Idea or Thesis that will be


developed in the Essay.

 It can be started from the very General then went for

 A good Thesis Statement does two things:-

It tells readers about an Essay topic.


 It presents the writers attitude, opinion,
idea, or point about the topic.
