A Brief about Peace Generation
Why Peace Education?

Peace Generation believes that prevention of

conflict is as important as conflict resolution in
creating a peaceful world. The latest data shows
that 90% of the current conflicts are derived
from previous conflicts and only 10% are new
conflicts. This data indicates that:

"Most conflicts are passed down from

generation to generation."

3. Contents of the modules:
Twelve basic values of peace: accept yourself, prejudices,
ethnic differences, religious differences, gender differences,
differences in economic status, group differences or gank,
diversities, conflict, refusing violence, admitting mistakes, forgiving

4. Learning model of the modules:

The modules did not explicitly describe learning model used. But,
according to my studies, as referred to learning model described
above, it can be concluded: discovery/inquiry based learning,
problem-based learning, project-based learning and game-based
learning. It can be found in teaching process and also the
assignments/homework outside the class. It can enhance and
strengthen skills of complex problem solving, creativity,
communication and collaboration.
