Learning goal: To know the layers of
atmosphere
Students had an interactive session to learn the
layers of atmosphere, they chose to make a
burger using colour paper slices.
Then they saw a video of atmospheric layers,
they were able to reflect and connect to the
burger which has layers as similar to the
atmosphere.
They represented the atmospheric layers with
play dough which was fun to learn.

English Integration
Learning goal: To understand that action
words play an important role in writing a
sentence
Students actively participated in the group
activity to observe the action, find the verb
and were excited to write sentences using
the verb and which they later presented it
by sticking it on the chart.
Students observed the action done by the
teacher to find out the verb to make
sentence.
Then they wrote sentences using the verbs
in the sticky notes and placed it in the chart
and those who used the correct form of the
verb with correct sentence formation was
declared as winner.
By this activity students learned about the
usage of tense and verb to frame their own
sentences.
Math Learning goal : To solve the
addition and subtraction word
problems and pattern making.
Students keenly listened to the
word problems read by the
teacher and identified whether
they have to do addition or
subtraction and solved the
problems in their notebook.
This activity enhanced their
listening skills and also their
problem solving strategies.
They also made a pattern using
glitter sheets and they understood
that patterns are a series or
sequence that repeats.
Additional language

Hindi and French:

In Hindi students learnt two letter words
by watching a video and they also wrote
the words in their notebook.
In French student learnt the number
names, colour names and name of
animals by watching video and also
pronounced the words orally.
Dance

Students enjoyed doing some

freestyle dance steps which helps
them to be flexible.
Swimming

Students were thrilled and

exhibited water confidence as
they learnt butterfly kicking and
free style kicking during
swimming class.
 PE
• Learning goal : To enhance communication
and social skills by learning a traditional game-
Seven Stones
. .
• Initially students had a warm up session to
improve flexibility and maintain proper postures.

• They listened to the instructions given and played a

traditional game-Seven Stones game. Students
divided themselves into two groups the first group
had to lay the stones one on top of each other in an
organized way and the second group had to hit the
stones with the ball and the opposite group had to
lay back the stones to and draw a circle around the
stones to win the game.

• By this game they had a clear understanding of the

concept that organizing play a very important role
in our daily life.
