BACKGROUND OF ENTREPRENEUR

 Mr. Mukesh Garg is the founder & CEO of Prompt


Enterprise Pvt. Ltd.
 He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from IP university
Delhi.
 He was the top performer in his college days, be it
educational or co-curricular activities.
 He initially set up Prompt Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. In Sector –
4 Faridabad to cater the needs of other affiliated
businesses.
HISTORY OF ENTERPRISE

 Prompt Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. established in the year 2008 with a


vision of Manufacturing Best Quality Products.
 Prompt’s first manufacturing facility of ERW Precision Steel Tube
was set up in Ballabgarh, Haryana in the year 2008 with installed
capacity of 30,000 meter ton per annum (MTPA) and later in 2014
Prompt had its second manufacturing unit in Gadpuri, Haryana
with installed capacity of 40,000 meter ton per annum (MTPA) .
 Prompt has achieved its leading market position in ERW Precision
Steel tubes in very short span of time a true picture of success is
quick and right decision at the moment.
PROCESS OF STARTING THE ENTERPRISE

 Firstly the team of energetic and experienced


professionals was created.
 Then they registered the company with the govt.
 They then trained their staff with the technical
knowledge and hired new people for various processes.
 They focused themselves to cater the customers.
TYPE OF ENTERPRISE

 Prompt Enterprises is a private limited company which


means a type of company that offers limited liability or
legal protection for its shareholders but that places
certain restriction on its ownership.
PRODUCTION PROCESS

 The company basically manufactures various ERW Steel tubes


including Round tubes, Square tubes, Rectangle tubes, Oval
tubes.
 It also specializes in manufacturing CRCA Steel manufacture like
Cold rolled coils, Cold rolled sheet, Cold rolled strips, Cold
rolled scraps.
 The state of the art equipment of Prompt like tube mills are as
per Japanese technology, Kusakabe has been installed keeping
in view the stringent quality requirements of the user
industries. The prominent feature of the plant is installation of
Thermatool (U.S.A.), solid-state high frequency induction
welder.
MARKETING POLICY

 Prompt has achieved its leading market position in ERW


Precision Steel tubes in very short span of time a true
picture of success is quick and right decision at the
moment.
 To achieve the goal Prompt adopts best technology &
highly skilled manpower. Over the years Prompt has attain
its name among leading Automotive Industries for Prompts
quality products and prompt delivery.
INVESTMENT AND INSTITUTIONAL
FINANCE
 Its authorized share capital is Rs. 40,000,000 and its paid
up capital is Rs. 30,970,000.
FINANCIAL MONITORING AND CONTROL

 The financial monitoring and control is implemented using


a dedicated team consisting personnel from department
of HR and Finance.
 They report to the Chief Financial Officer of the company.
People Management

 The trio of CEO, COO and CFO of the company along with
the Human Resource Department are responsible for
managing the people.
 Any of the complaint can meet them without
appointment.
Family Support

 The entrepreneur is greatly supported by his family and


friends.
 Even his parents and In-laws supported him with morale
and finance.
 In his earlier days his wife, a software engineer with
Wipro used to carry out household expenses.

BACKGROUND OF ENTREPRENEUR

 The entrepreneur, named Vishnu Kumar Garg, was born on


4th June’1970 in a village named Kaman of district
Bharatpur in Rajasthan.
 He did his schooling from the local government school
situated near his birthplace.
 Then, at the age of 12, he shifted to Ballabgarh,
Faridabad where he opened his grocery store.
 He belongs to a middle class and Orthodox Hindu family.
HISTORY OF THE ENTERPRISE

 Established in the year 1990, Vishnu Provision Store in


Ballabgarh, Faridabad was a small grocery store. But soon
it became a well-known established acts as a one-step
destination servicing customers both local and from other
parts of near by area Faridabad.
 Over the course of its journey, this business has
established a firm foothold in it’s industry. The belief that
customer satisfaction is as important as their products and
services, have helped this establishment garner a vast
base of customers, which continues to grow day by day.
PROCESS OF STARTING THE ENTERPRISE

 In 1990, he began with a small shop in Anaj Mandi,


Ballabgarh, as the shop was located at a prime location it
made it easy for first-time visitors in locating this
establishment.
 It is known to provide top products in the following
categories: FMCG products.
 Earlier it was a retailer store but slowly it became a
wholesaler store.

 Hindu Undivided family business.


MARKETING POLICIES

 Whole and sole market policy was just to provide


customer satisfaction.
INVESTMENT

 His family money was taken initially.


 He started with an investment of 50,000 INR given by his
parents.
FINANCIAL MONITORING AND CONTROL

 Payment can be made by Cash, Cheques, Debit cards,


Credit Cards, Paytm, Phone pay, Google Pay etc.
 A computer specialist is hired who received the payment
and he also keep the record of all transactions and make a
lost of customer purchase.
 Payment received from customers are used to expand the
business.
GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT

 All the revenue generated is invested for the expansion of


store.
 Initially there were only few items which were offered to
the customers but now more than 300 items are offered
by the store.
PROBLEMS FACED

 Initially problem was faced in making the people aware.


 Now to stand up with competitors is also a problem.
 Raising more funds for increasing variety and products
initially was also a big challenge.
FAMILY SUPPORT AND OPPOSITION

 Family was always supportive mentally as well as


financially.
FUTURE PLANS

 They are planning to build brand image of the store,


starting business online and opening new stores at other
locations.
