NEED IDENTIFICATION:
Sports have been one of the most loved activities in India. But, Despite its huge
population, India is almost always at the bottom in the Olympics medal tally
because of the lack of facilities provided. Even if a person, somehow, gets through
all the challenges, the infrastructure provided does not prepare him well for the
international level competitions. Players go to other countries for training.
AIM:
Sports have been one of the most loved activities in India. The
aim of the project is therefore to create a platform for learning
indoor and outdoor sports with tournament facilities under one
roof.

OBECTIVES:
1. To create high-performance academy which provide access to
world-class equipment, facilities and accommodation for players
as well as coaches for flexible training hours.
2. To unite specialist of different fields, such as sports, physical
activity, education, health and nutrients to train the players
under one space.
3. Area of research is focused on orientation of indoor and outdoor
sports and sport specifications.
MAJOR THRUST AREA:
1. Structural innovation and materials
2. Materials and technological innovations
SITE LOCATION FACTORS:

1. Based on the fact that ‘top 3 major cities in Tamil Nadu that lacks
proper infrastructure for sports’.
2. Based on school games federation of India (SAFI) more number of
medals from each cities in school level competitions.
3. Based on population of students.
4. Based on these factors the cities below were chosen.

1961 to 14.2% in 2011.
AIM:
1. To create interactive platform and create a symbiotic
relationship between elders and orphans
2. Through the medium of architecture , develop personality of
children and to prepare them re-enter the society and create
solutions to address the problem of restoring dignity and sense of
belonging among elderly
3. To provide a space to recreate the security of family bonds and
ties.
OBJECTIVES:
1. To provide its residents with a secure,
relaxed, homely, warm and comfortable
environment
2. To create a community living
3. To preserve and maintain dignity
individuality privacy, security,
independence choice fulfilment.

3. Not major traffic in all sides of the road
4. Essential commercial facilities nearby
5. Essential community and health and recreation

1. Alternate education has a variety of
pedagogical approaches that are different
from the conventional system of education
based on standardized curricula and tests.
2. A common principle - to develop the whole
human being , rather than just one dimension.
3. It is environment that nurtures the students
natural creativity by encouraging him/her to
explore area of interest and all around
personality development , without
competition and comparison.
4. Establishes a dialogue between the students
and the teachers, where students explore the
art of learning psychologically, intellectually
and physically with open curiosity rather than
judgement.
NEED IDENTIFICATION:
According to ministry of human resource
development , out of 230 million in India,
62.1 million children are dropouts. One the
major reasons is they children dislike the
conventional method of teaching.

Reason:
Due to the increasing land requirements
in cities due to urbanization, the site is
selected in the outskirts of the cities not
only to learn from the classrooms but
also from the environment.
