- Tuberkel tinggi : low occlusion force and less eccentric movement
during function
- Abraded teeth  parafuctional  kesuksesan SCD rendah

lingual surfaces

1. GIGI AKRILIK :
- Paling sering dipakai pada SCD
- Kelebihan : non abrasive for natural teeth, resorpsi minimal pada supporting tissue, menyerap
occlusal forces
- Kekurangan : dapat abrasi, loss of DVO (namun sekarang sudah diminimalkan)
- Penggunaan ceramic pada gigi P2 dan M1

2. GIGI PORSELEN
- Kelebihan : tahan abrasive, ketinggian vertical baik
- Kekurangan : abrasi pada gigi asli, fraktur tuberkel palatal RA dan bukal RB, ikatan
mekanis dengan GT (dapat terlepas), tidak menyerap occlusal forces  mempercepat
resorpsi alveolar
- Tidak disarankan pada SCD

a. Arkrilik with amalgam fillings
- Kelebihan : mencegah kehilangan tinggi vertical, less of abrasion
- Kekurangan : akrilik disekitar amalgam yang akan terkikis
- Bagus pada kasus RA natural teeth & SCD RB

b. Gold occlusal surfaces

- Schultz (1951)
- treatment option for patiens who have combination sydrome
- Kelebihan : harder material  prevent occlusal abrasion
- Kekurangan : harga mahal
- Recommended to used for SCD
