 Rural communities have long struggled to maintain access to
quality health care services. An extensive body of literature
has documented the problems faced by rural hospitals and
other providers and found that rural Americans often lack
access to basic health care services.
 A variety of elements contribute to these problems in rural
areas, including a declining population, economic stagnation,
shortages of physicians and other health care professionals, a
disproportionate number of elderly, poor, and underinsured
residents, and high rates of chronic illness.
 To design and develop a prototype of VVC to monitor
and manage the rural peoples health issues.
 To design and develop a prototype of smart medicine
box system to provide medicine for respective health
issue
 To set up a prototype of the online doctor system for
the video call interface between patient and doctor.
 VVC contains a smart medicine box, wireless sensor scanning center,
online doctor, emergency care center, VVC (Virtual Village Centre) cloud.
The wireless sensor scanning center contains various body sensors
for measuring the different health parameter, this data would be
transmitted to a VVC cloud through the IoT structure.
The VVC cloud analyses this sensed data and send the respective
messages to the smart medicine box. Then this smart medicine box
would give proper medicine based on cloud instructions.
The online doctor setup provides the video interface between patient
and doctor, that is if a patient wants to interact with a doctor or the
doctor would like to give prescriptions to respective patient.
If the patient condition is in critical then the emergency care would
send the alerts to the 108 and 104 services. This emergency care system
is smart enough to send the alerts to ambulance services with respect to
patient health condition along the location of the VVC
