Characters:
1. Persephone – the main protagonist of the story. She is the daughter
of Zeus and Demeter. She was abducted by the Hades, the god of the
underworld.
2. Hades – the main antagonist of the story. He is the god of the
underworld. He fell in love in Persephone, so he decided to abduct her.
3. Demeter – one for supporting characters. She is the mother of
Persephone.
4. Zeus – one of the supporting characters. He is the father of
Persephone.
PLOT

A. Exposition
Persephone, along with her friends,
were walking in the fields when
Hades, the king of the underworld,
came out from nowhere.

B. Rising Action
Hades kidnapped Persephone and
brought her to the underworld.

Meanwhile, in the world above, Demeter,

Persephone's mother, searched for her
daughter in agony. She grieved so much
that it led to the trees to wither and for
the earth to freeze

Worried about the effect of
this to the mortals, Zeus
ordered Hades to return
Persephone to the world
above.

D. Falling Action
Hades obeyed, but let Persephone eat something
in which Persephone ate four pomegranate seeds.
Persephone returned to the world above and met
with her mother, thus spring came back.
Demeter found out that Persephone ate something
in the underworld. This deeply saddened Demeter
because she knew the consequence of her
daughter's action.
As a consequence, Persephone had to stay in the
underworld for 4 months.
