INTRODUCTION
 Introduction about multi storey building
 G+9 residential building constructed by ARK
TERMINUS INFRA, this building located at
kondapur
 The flat area of project is 1acre and it
consists of 68 rooms.
 3BHK multistory building covered plot area
of 1755sqft to 2225sqft with homely
facilities and luxurious rooms.
 Children Swimming pool, club house, citizen
room and car parking etc. are provided in
building.
DETAILS OF PROJECT
 Project name: Ark Terminus Hampton
 Construction company: Ark and terminus group
 Design specification given by: genesis planner
pvt. Ltd.
 Location : kondapur Hyderabad.
 Type of construction: high rise building.
 Area: 1acre of land.
 Number of floors: G+9 floors.
 Number of flats: 68 flats.
OBJETIVE
 To let us experience the actual working
environmental
 To understand the basics of the construction
process.
 To know the which type of equipments are used
in site.
 To known the sequence of construction.
 To know plan marking on ground
MATERIAL DETAILS
 CEMENT: Cement is a binder, cement is used
for bind the material together.
cement is available in 33 grade, 43 grade
and 53 grade.
 STONE: Stone is available in nature in form
of rocks, cutting and dressing to proper
shape.
 AGGREGATE: Aggregate are inert granular
material such as gravel, sand
Fine aggregate generally consist of natural
sand with most particle passing through
4.75mm
Coarse aggregate are generally grether
than 4.75mm, it is used in concrete
Coarse aggregate of 40mm is used in PCC
 MARKING PILLAR WITH THREAD: check
the acqurracy of work and maintain
perfect vertical.
 WATER PIPE LEVEL: It is used to matching
the elevation of location that are far apart
Water level in pipe will be same elevation
by adjusting the both ends.
 BRICK: It is a material used for make walls
pavement and in masonry construction
SPECIFICATION
COMPOUND WALL
 PCC Bed: PCC laid over hard soil or well compacted soil
or artificially well stabilised soil layer.
M15 grade is use.
 Basement: cement mortar for masonry wall is CM 1:8
 stone is CRS
 Brick masonry: cement mortar for brick wall is CM 1:6
9” thick brick wall is proposed all around
the site with open joint @ 100ft interval
open joint shall have gap of 1 inch
WORK EXPERIENCE
CONSTUCTION OF COMPOUND WALL
 Compound wall marking around the building
 Its for to know the position of boundary wall and
columns of site
 Marking done by use marking pillar with thread, thread
indicates the dimension
 Excavation of earth work of compound
wall for depth of 5’6” and width of 3’ 6”
below the natural ground level
Compound wall:
East side
length=66.35m (217.68ft)
Width =3.2ft
Height =10ft (slope)
West side
length =60m (196.85ft)
Width =3.2ft
Height =5ft (plane)
North side
length =60.45 m (198.32 ft)
Width =3.2ft
Height =6ft (slope)
South side
length =61.02m (200.2ft)
Width =3.2ft
Height =6ft (plane)
 Laying of PCC bed over level surface of
thickness 6” and the width of 2’ 3”
 M15 grade of concrete is used for PCC
bed.
 Laying CRS masonary on the PCC bed 0f
first step :
width =1’ 9” and height = 2’
second step :
width = 1’ 6” and height = 3’
 Marking pillar with thread is used to
layout the dimension of compound wall,
it easy to work for workers.
 basement provided upto the level of drive
way
 Mortar filled voids in between the stones
to improve the bonding.
 Cement mortar for CRS masonry wall is
CM 1:8
 quantity calculation :
cement : 1.6/(1+8)=0.178m3
sand : 1.6*6/(1+8)=1.067m3
 No of bag of cement = 0.178/0.0347
=5.12 bags
 Refilling of earth around the compound wall
upto the drive level (inside) and natural
ground level(outside)
 Laying of brick masonary on the basement
 Cement mortar for brick wall is CM 1:6
 quantity estimation:
cement=1.6/(1+6)
=0.228m
No of cement bag=0.228/0.0347
=6.58 bags
sand =1.6*6/(1+6)
=1.37m3
 9” thick brick wall proposed around the
site with open joints @100ft intervals,
open shall have a gap of 1’’ for expansion
and contraction.
 The brick courses are perfectly horizontal
 vertically of the wall should checking by
plumbob
 Raising of wall up to 1.5m in one day.
 Curing will done

conclusion:
 I learned the sequence of construction
and time consumption, usage of material
in construction process
 I learned maintain acquracy at every
event of construction.
