GRADING SYSTEM
CLASSROOM AWARDS
•Recognition given to learners in each
class or section.
•A simple recognition may be given
per quarter, semester, or at the end
of the school year.
CLASSROOM AWARDS
•Awardees are given merit by the
adviser and/or other subject
teachers in recognition of the
learners’ outstanding performance
in the class.
GRADE-LEVEL AWARDS
•Given to qualified learners for every
grade level at the end of the school year.
•Candidates for the awards are
deliberated by the Awards
Committee(AC) if they have met the
given criteria.
SPECIAL RECOGNITION
•Given by the school learners who have
represented and / or won competitions at
the district, division, recognition,
regional, national, or international levels.
This is publicly affirm learners who have
brought honor to the school.
CONDUCT AWARDS
• Awardees must have consistently and dutifully
carried out the core values of Department as
indicated in report card.
• They must have obtained 75% “Always
Observed”(AO) at the end of school year or 21 out of
28 AO in the report card.
CONDUCT AWARDS
•They also must have not been sanctioned
with offenses punishable by suspension or
higher sanction within the school year
according to the Department’s service
manual and Child Protection Policy.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
AWARD
•The award for Academic Excellence
within the quarter is given to learners
who have attained an average of at least
90 and passed all learning areas.

ATHLETICS
•This award is given to learners who have shown
outstanding skills in athletics (particularly in games
and sports) through the participation and victories
in competitions , as well as discipline in training and
sportsman like conduct and character.
•The academic rating that will be considered for this
award would be the student’s final grade in P.E.
ARTS
•This award is given to learners who have
consistently demonstrated outstanding skills
in Arts and above average creativity and
craftsmanship exemplified through
contribution to school various functions and
events.
COMMUNICATION ARTS
•This award is given to learners who have
demonstrated proficiency in any
language(Filipino, English, and other Foreign
languages), in written or oral communication,
shown creativity in expressing ideas in written or
in oral activities in various subjects and
contributed to the school community.

Ang Mataas na Paaralang Nasyonal

ng Marciano ay isang paaralang
nagbibigay ng libreng edukasyon sa lahat
ng mga mag-aaral na nagnanais na
pumasok at mapabilang dito. Kaya
naman po hinihiling po naming ang
inyong pakikipagtulungan upang mapa-
unlad at maisaayos ang mga mag-aaral.
Role of the Parents
•Aparent's role in their child's education.
Parental encouragement and support
for learning activities at home
combined with parental involvement in
schooling is critical to children's
education. They enlarge parental and
community capacity; they create
conditions in which children learn more
effectively.
Teacher’s Role
•Article349 of the New Civil Code
provides among others, that teachers
shall exercise substitute parental
authority in relation to their
students. While the law provides or
assign them that legal authority of
natural parents in a substitute to
their capacity.
