Egg Production
 all females are borm with
approx. 200 million egg cells
they will produce in their life
time.

chromosomes
 out of 400,000 only 300 to 500
will mature and then called as
ova (sing. ovum)
After 28 days, an ovum is
released in an adult female
body.
Cilia - sweep the ovum into
either fallopian tubes or
oviducts.
Fallopian tubes [uterine tubes]
passageway through which
an ovum moves from ovary
to the uterus
takes 3-4 days for the ovum
to travel inside the fallopian
tube.
if not fertiized at this stage, it
will die within 24 to 48 hours.
Vagina
this is where the sperm
cells are deposited during
sexual intercourse.
