1. What are the objectives of your
studying in faculty of nursing, KKU?
We learning objectives :
a. Therapeutic communication in nursing care
to clients with mental disorders
b. Use effective interpesonal skills in
teamwork
c. Using technology and healt information
effectively in teamwork
d. Providing nursing care to individuals,
children and families healthy soul and who
have problem of risk of mental disorder and
with core problem of mental disorder
2. Did you meet your study
objectives? Why? Please clarivy
Yes, we meet about our objectives. Although we
were not allowed to direct care the patient,
we learn many things. For example:
1. we learn to care the patient with limit setting
from observation patient restrain and
seclusion
2.We learn about high alert drug from
observation the nurse give medicine to
patient
3.We learn about group activity and we play in
sub group activity
3. What did you do in your practical
settings?
We do some activities :
1. Observation group activity
2. Observation of drug delivery to the
patient
3. Observation of injection to the patient
4. Check the vital sign
5. Do exercise with patient
6. Play sub group with patient
4. What did you learn from your
nursing practice?
We learn about :
1. Strategic of manage hallucination
2. ECT (electro conclusive therapy)
3. MSE (mental status examination)
4. Group activity
5. Limitted setting
6. High alert drug
7. Asssment patient with CIWA score
5. What are strength and weakness
from your learning? Experiences in
your practical settings?

A. Strength :
• we get new knowledge about how the
nursing care for patient
• We have advisor and we have ajan that
care with student and she share many
things with me
B. Weakness :
• Some staff cant’t speak english so we
difficult for understand what the staff
mean.
• Some activities can’t action. We just
observation about everything except
check vital sigh and play sub group with
patient.
• Problem with language because
pronountation in thailand and in
indonesia is different
6. What are srength and weakness of
the placement?
A. Strength :
1. We get advisor is very good. she teach
to us how the nurse do for
identification patient first entered
2. We get staff and a good friends who
always help us if we need some
information about everything
B. Weakness :
1. In list patients there are no english
language so we must ask to our friend
for translate
2. When preconfrence, the nurse use
Thailand language so we not understand
7. Please compare health care
service between Thailand and your
country?
In Thailand :
1. family of the patient always visit the
patient once a week
2. The nurse give education for the family
about status development of the patient
once a week
3. There are sub group for exercise
cognitive patient
In Indonesia :
1. we never look family patient visit the
patient in psychiatric hospital
2. There is no programme from nurse to
give education about status development
of the patient
8. Please give the suggestions for
your practice?
• Permit the student exchange for give
action accompained by staff nursing who
practice in the ward
• For more active and aplication positive
result that get during study
9. Please explain what do you feel
with these issues?
A. Time and duration of practice
I think time start for practice is same with
Indonesia because duration of practice is
longer.

B. Schedule
No problem with schedule in here but in
indonesia we practice in psychiatric
hospital from Monday until saturday
C. Placement
We practice in chongko ward from start
to finish, but other group in other ward
get practice in nursing poly soul so we
can’t know what different between
practice in the word and in the poly
D. Experiences
We get many new knowledge in here :
1. We get what the function of therapy
ECT
2. We know how the nurse caring the
patient
3. We get new friends for other
university
