Vitamin B5

Pantotenic acid is called pantothenat or vitamin B5. The


molecular formula is C9H17NO5. Pantothenic acid is an amide
between pentatonic acid and B-alanine. Its name comes from
the Greek pantothen, meaning "from everywhere", and a small
amount of pantothenic acid is found in almost every food.
Pentatonic acid is found in high amounts in avocados, wheat
cereals, beans, eggs, meat, royal jelly, and yoghurt.

Natural pentothenic acid in the form of the isomer -d ie the


peptide of oantoic acid and b-alanine. pantothenic acid is free of
the chemically unstable sodium salt, typically used calcium salts
(calcium dipototenate). the oantothenic acid acid form is
synthesis of pantothenic acid having biological activity.

Vitamin B9, also called folate or vitamin M.


The name comes from 'folium' which is the Latin
word for leaves, Since folate was first isolated
from spinach. The vitamin B9 molecule formula is
C19H19N7O6.
Strutur Vitamin B9

vitamin B9 consists of p-aminobenzoic acid which


binds pteridine to C-9 to form pteroic acid. carboxyl
group of p-aminobenziaat which part of acid binds
peptide with amino glutamate group to form pteroyl
monoglutamate. in the folate coenzyme, the pteridine
ring is reduced to tetrahydrofolate
