showed support to the project. Simultaneous to
the Launching was the conduct of “Panambay sa
Barangay” a Medical Mission conducted
periodically by the Medical team of Surigao del
Norte. Ground breaking of the General Luna
Trauma Center was also done.

strategies towards improving health outcomes (
gatekeeping mechanisms and patient referral system)
