more and farmers earning less.
• Ocampo, (2018) claims that rice prices continue to rise despite of the
continuous arrival of imports.
• Pandey, (2008) describes the price of rice as an upward trend that had been
increasing at a rate of 1% per year from 2001 to 2008.

And the researchers concluded that if the Philippines

were like the other country. Who are able to use their lands
in a right and productive ways there is no reason the
Philippines will not improve. And if the government were
more eager to develop this sector. We can really achieve our
goals. And that is to make the price of rice fair to everybody.
