1. Introductory activity?

2. Why to teach vocabulary?
The vocabulary is the essential element both in the comprehension of the
text, be it written or oral text, as well as in its production. Knowing vocabulary
means mastering specific words (nouns, adjectives, verbs, expressions,
among others), meanwhile it is often necessary to also know words that
would be called "support" that make the explanation possible when what is
needed is not known.

We believe that having a rough vocabulary facilitates the teaching / learning


process and in the background facilitates the communicative process.
3. What Vocabulary is?
● Vocabulary is a group of words
that a language have about a
particular subject.
Examples of
vocabulary:
-Parts of the house.
-Parts of the body.
-Clothes.
-Food.
-Verbs.

4. Factors to consider when teaching vocabulary

It is important to take into account students' level of


English, age, and the purpose for which students learn
English. Similarly, if students have a disciplinary
approach (if they study for example, accounting, law,
engineering)
5. How to teach vocabulary

The teacher has to teach the vocabulary while

may to get the knowledge about a physical
response like pictures or objects.

First we proposed an Introductory activity, them is


necessary and have clear Why to teach vocabulary and
What vocabulary is because these are the reasons why
vocabulary is important however, it is necessary to point
out the factors that influence when teaching vocabulary
because not all teaching scenarios are not the same. Below
we show how it is possible to teach through certain
techniques and and finally we postulate a closing activity
where we will see what is shown above.
