 Drug Addiction is one of the most common issues that have
been faced in society nowadays. It’s not a choice , it’s not a
weakness.Addiction is a brain disease which can leads you to a wrong
path and do wrong doings , it can change how the brain works, and
those changes can last long time and drugs are so hard to quit once
you try it.
Many people don’t understand why or how other people
become so addicted to illegal drugs.They mistakenly think that those
who use drugs are lack of moral principles or willpower and that they
could stop their drugs use simply by choosing to.In reality , drug
addiction is complex disease and quitting usually takes more than good
intentions or a strong will. Fortunately , researchers know more than
ever about how drugs affect the brain and have found treatments that
can help people recover from addiction and lead to productive
lives.This certain substance can affect the body and brain of a user that
can lead to hallucination , disease and more worst can cause to
death.It will not only cause irreversible damage to the life of a user but
it can also destroy the relationship between family members and
friends.

The Proposed Solution
The concept to help those who have been addicted to drugs that
reached into worst and educating youth about Drug Addiction has
encouraged the group to prepare a drug addiction treatment and prevention
through campaign that would acknowledge the projects of Philippine
National Police(PNP) , Department of Health(DOH) and Bureau of Food and
Drug(BFAD).The drug addiction treatment and prevention is not about how
bad the life of a person is , as if it is about the welfare of everyone and to
have a better life of ahead.
The Drug Addiction Treatment and Prevention includes;
• Drug Testing
• Drug Rehabilitation
The Drug Addiction Treatment and Prevention will then be presented to the
said Government agencies to get their support and approval . Hence, the
group will set an appoinmets for meetings with key officials in order to
discuss of this endeavour and the contents.

1. What is drug addiction ?
Drug Addiction is a disease characterized by drugs seeking and use that is
compulsive or difficult to control despite the harmful consequences.
2. What is the most affected area in the body when a person tends to take illegal
drugs?
The most affected area in the body of a person is in the brain “reward circuit”
it leads the brain to an unhealthy behavior like doing something unnecessary and it
leads to repeat the behavior again and again.
3. Why people tend to take or use drugs?
A person tend to use drugs because he/she may suffer anxieties and
depressions and he/she includes drugs as an escape to this problems.
4. How to cure Drug Addiction?
Drug treatment is intended to help addicted individuals to stop seeking and
using illegal drugs. Drug must undergo rehabilitation treatment to be cure and to
change their perspectives in life into better.Overcoming drug addiction is a step by
step through medication.

conducted to educate young people?
The help that should be conducted to educate young people is Drug
education because it is the best way to educate young people to be aware
of consequence in using drugs.Education plays a counterbalancing role in
shaping a normative culture safely ,moderation and informed decision-
making in life.

People become addicted because they surpass their limits.They
become more abusive not only to their physical health but also to their
mental and emotional health.

One of the best things you can do for a friend with a serious matter
drug problem is let them know you are always there to support them.
Encourage them to seek help from a trusted adults in order for them to
have a strong positive influence.

chemical substance used to treat, cure or diagnose a disease or to
promote well-being. Traditionally , drugs were obtained through
extraction from medical plants but more recently also by organic
synthesis.

A drug is a substance that affects the way the body functions.If
a drug is classified as illegal , this means that it is forbidden by law.

A drug is legal if it is needed for medication.The doctor allows to
prescribe to those people who have a certain illnesses and some have
passed laws is also allow to sell marijuana or other drugs to adults for
personal use only.

To help the human beings who are emotionally suffering by this
mental illness caused by being addicted to these illegal drugs.We
conduct a “Symposium or a Drug Awareness Program for another
powerful and emotionally driven campaign to bring awareness and
to share our knowledge about the effects of drugs.To assure the
better future of the children , we made some activities to
implement as well in which we can get also the interest of our
youths to join sports ,green revolution and others for the good of
our youths and to our country as a whole.
