 To become a successful professional, you

must take charge of the entire process
that includes conceiving the idea of the
new product, designing it, carrying out its
preparation, but also publicizing and
marketing it. Therefore, the Fashion
Designer will be trained to work in the
integral process of making clothing, as
well as in each part of the process in
particular.
Design materials

 The materials used by the designers are:

Pencils: To create the design Rubber
Scissors: to cut fabric and design

embroidery or sewing Buttons or some
accessory to decorate Measuring tape

 In the University you have a

career in Textile Design and
Clothing, with a duration of 4
years.
What tasks does a Fashion Designer
do?

 Before starting the design, it must take into account the target
audience, the socioeconomic conditions to which it is aimed, the
available production techniques and the current trends in fashion. Then
he must design the product, make the necessary materials and
machinery for the production, coordinate it, carry out its supervision,
devise the appropriate advertising campaign and project the means of
commercialization. The product will not necessarily be a dress,
according to the traditional conception of the discipline, but the
knowledge can be applied for the design of all types of clothing, as well
as all kinds of accessories, footwear, etc. Nor will it necessarily be
oriented to the manufacture of apparel for fashion garments, but may
be devoted to the preparation of children's clothing, labor, etc.

Advantages of studying Fashion Design:You can

apply your creativity to progress in your work.You can

Disadvantages of studying Fashion Design:It is not a

traditional career, so you should be careful when
choosing the place where you will study.The beginning

 Fashion Design is a career that requires a lot of creativity, vision, passion
and business skills. Also, drawing and design are also important, although if
