INTRODUCTION

The researchers of this study designed a

new and safer way to shock plants electrically,
to determine the effect of regular application
of low voltage electricity and to make sure that
it is equally distributed on radish (R. sativus)
plants. The element manipulated in this study
is the duration of radish plants’ exposure to
electric shock. This design was developed for
the researchers to make sure that the data that
were gathered were tangible and reliable.
OBJECTIVES
This study will answer the following questions:
a) Is there a difference in the growth of radish plants that were exposed
to electric shock between those that were not exposed to electric
shock?
b) What is the difference in the morphology of the radish plants that
were shocked and those that were not shocked?
c) Is there a difference in the morphology of radish plants with varying
duration of electric shock?

CONCLUSIONS
There is a difference between the growth of plants exposed
to electric shock and those plants that are not exposed to electric
shock in terms of plant height, number of leaves, and width of the
leaves.
The difference in the morphology of plants is that the plants
that were exposed to electric shock grew taller, have more leaves,
wider and larger leaves, and longer roots than those that were not
shocked.
There is a difference in the morphology of the plants that
were exposed to electricity for a short period of time and those
plants that were exposed to electricity for a longer period of time.
