PROPAGANDA
-is the deliberate use of approaches that
shape a statement and make it more
convincing based on factors like emotional
appeal or others. Its typical goal is to win a
reader or listener over to a particular line of
thinking, be it commercial, political or even
religious.

-this involves attaching a negative label to the
opposition or competition, putting them down in
order to pull up one’s side.

mudslingers, and as such should not be elected

GLITTERING GENERALITY
-this used positive-sounding words, which also tend to
be difficult to quickly substantiate or measure in
general-sounding statements to associate them with
the prompted person or item. Good, honorable, fair
and so on are popular choices.

Example: Supporting the proposed bill is on action


that demonstrates true patriotism.

EMOTIONAL APPEAL
-this plays to audiences’ emotions by channeling their
pity, family attachment, fear and so on. This helps
make whatever is being promoted more acceptable
because of that emotional reaction than any logical
reason.

that could be fed with all that money.

-relies on associating the goodwill and
popularity of an established person or item with
a particular person or item.

-similar to transfer, this relies upon the
familiarity, popularity, or expertise of a

-taken from the expression “jumping on the
bandwagon”, this approach an item, the

-this approach makes the item or idea more
acceptable to people by depicting relatable,

VALUES
L- With the current deception we are facing nowadays via advertisements, promotions and such,
we must not forget the love we should have with our God, country and others. We must uphold
these values above anything else.

I- We must be honest with the words we spout, especially when we know we hold great power
and influence on people.

G- God should always be the reason why we do such good acts to the people. Always uphold
God’s glory in our actions, thoughts and words.

H- Nature is slowly depleting in time, and now is the good time to advertise and promote
harmony with nature to everyone.

T- Children of Light should always be committed to excellence spiritually, mentally and


emotionally. This will help us serve the greatest cause, God’s words.
