    Recommended Solution

    • In addressing the challenges associated with


    the Paper based Patient Record keeping
    system at AHC, An electronic medical records
    (EMR) system is recommended.
    • An Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system is
    simply a digital version of the traditional paper
    based medical record of a patient.
    • It involves the transformation of paper based
    information into a digital copy, and the
    imputing of new patient information digitally,
    not stored on shelves and folders any more but
    in a relational electronic database.

    AHC* : Aplaku Health Centre
