BACKGROUND
1. Railway Testing Office has the main task to test the Railway
infrastructure, Railway facilities, and Railway human
resources
2. The development of Signalling Technology are developing
rapidly, especially in LRT, MRT, and High Speed Train
3. To support the implementation of Infrastructure testing, training
is needed to equip the infrastructure tester (in this case
Railway Operators Facility Examiners) guidance and skills
in order to test the railway signaling equipment on modern
trains (LRT, MRT, High Speed Train)
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The purpose and objectives of this training are to equip Railway
Operators Facility Examiners regarding:
a. LRT trains, MRT and High Speed Trains Signaling Equipment
Testing Procedure
b. Test equipment used in the testing process
c. Standardization used in determining the suitability of
Operation Facilities
TRAINING VENUE
1. South Korea is a country in Asia that already uses Grade of Automation
level 3 (GoA 3) and uses Safety Integration Level 4 (SIL-4) for LRT and
High Speed Train. LRT train facilities used in Indonesia are manufactured in
Korea (Hyundai Rotem, Woojin).
2. In 2017, API Madiun with PT INTI, KRSRA (Korea Railway Signaling
Reaserch Association and Hyuksin Eng had collaborated on Research &
Development in the Signaling sector that produces CBI Interlocking. Hyuksin
Engineering is a company that produces interlocking equipment and has a
complete laboratory for testing equipment, thus chosen as a place to do
training.
ACTIVITY OUTCOME
1. Railway Testing Office and Public Service Institution (BLU)
Indonesian Railway Academy in Madiun signed an cooperation
agreement to establish this training. (No PKS
HK.201/03/IX/BP-UJI/2019, HK. 201/1/12/APIM 2019)
2. Indonesian Railway Academy in Madiun cooperating with
Hyuksin Engineering (which was the engineer behind good
signalling equipment in Jakarta LRT System) and Neo Trans Co,
Ltd. Which is the LRT Operator in Shinbundang Line, South
Korea
THE TRAINING
Training will be held on September, 23th. – 28th. 2019 in Hyuksin
Engineering Laboratorium in Yongin South Korea and the simulation
in Neo Trans attached with the schedule is in after this page.
