ABOUT THE EVENT-

 The event we want to organise is a health check-


up for kids of two nearby schools to our campus.

 The schools are Government Primary School and


Government High School.

 These two schools are at a distance of nearly a


Kilometre from each other and in less than the
2km radius of our campus
WHY THIS EVENT?
 The students coming to these schools are
basically those which belong to low-income
families and they may or may not get a proper
nutrition day-to-day diet.

 As a younger generation, we all need to take


responsibility to keep them healthy.

 Educate them about how to keep yourself and


your families healthy and what does a balanced
diet actually means.
THE TEAM OF DOCTORS-

 We will be inviting M.B.B.S. students from Pt.


Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Medical College to
carry forward the check-up process.
STEPS OF THE ACTION PLAN-
 To inform the administration and Student Affairs
Committee of IIM Raipur of our initiative.

 To visit the Medical College to tell about our


initiative and to convince them to send a team of
Doctors or Physicians to properly conduct the
health check-up on an apt date.

 To visit these schools nearly 15 days before the


day of the check-up to tell them about our event
 Dividing the team into different groups and each
group will be given tasks.

 The necessary equipment will be made available


by the Kartavya team through fund raising from
the college and by contacting and convincing
GOONJ an NGO in Raipur to provide some
funding.
TIMELINES-
EVENTS OF THE DAY-

 A team will be at one of the schools where all the


students will be present by 7:00 a.m. at school.

 Another team will contact the Medical College at


7:30 a.m. to make sure that Physicians are on
time by 8:30 a.m.

 Once all the students are present, attendance


will be taken at 8:00 a.m.
 The process will start at 9:00 a.m. until all the
students are checked.

 Lunch will be at 12:30 p.m. followed by snacks at


5:30 p.m.

 Once the process is completed the Physicians will


be interacting with students.

 Once done students will be going to their


respective places and us to our campus.
BUDGET FOR THE EVENT-
*Equipment needed would be following-

 Alcohol Wipes
 Applicators, cotton tip
 Weighing Machine
 Height Measuring Scale
 Container for blood samples
 Needles
 Stethoscope
 Biohazard Container
 And few others according to the need and consent of doctors.
