 CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
This chapter of the paper presents the problem and its setting. It
includes the background of the study, the statement of the problem,
significance of the study, and scope and delimitation of the study.

BACKGROUND STUDY
Research, is not easy, but it is not hard also to the people who
want to be success in life someday. Alot of student avoid research and
afraid to this subject. Like the one student on the post on facebook
she said, student make happy if the research remove. But this girl she
dont know what her. Saying she don't know the purpose and
importance of research. The SHS GAS and HUMSS-11 in binulasan
Integrated School(BIS) are having difficulties on doing research paper.
 Because they are not interested to this subject. They are lazy and
only focused on nonsense thing and mostly of student, when starting
of research they don't know the pattern or the step on how to do
research. Because of lack of knowledge their no person guide for
them. The absentism is also problem, absentism of the student
mostly of the teacher who is physically absent. Because of that it can
affect to the student, and also teacher are using pure or deep english
language, without elaboration when they are discussing thats why
student can't relate.
Research is the systematic investigation into and study of
materials and source in order to establish facts and reach new
conclusion. According to Elmer Irene (2014) majority of student
define research as the most challenging, if not the most problematic,
task in college or SHS. And also he said if research is alsothe most
rewarding activity, then why many are avoiding research?
 Research is not easy, partly because the student has to be able to think
well and work independently you need a certain curiosity and a certain
passion to get the root of the research problem. Need to think and
concentrate, and not be distracted. This is especially so when they are
reading many articles that connected their topic.

STATEMENT OF PROBLEM

This research would like to know why the senior high school Gas and
Humss-11 of Binulasan Integrated School are having a difficulties on doing
their research paper.

-Why SHS of Binulasan Integrated School are having difficulties on doing

research paper?
-what are the reason of SHS of Binulasan Integrated School having
difficulties on doing research paper?
-what are the effect to the student of having difficulties of doing research
paper?
 SIGNIFICANTS OF STUDY

The study benefited the following the student's, teacher's and family.

-STUDENT - this study can help the student to know why their are
having difficulty on doing the research paper to know how they
improved their interest creating a research paper.

-TEACHER- this study can help the teachers to know they are
important to the student.

-FAMILY- this study can help the family to avoid failure of their child.
SCOPE

The research focused on Why the SHS GAS and HUMSS-11 on

Binulasan Integrated School are having difficulty to doing their
research paper.
 CHAPTER 2

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE

Francisco Cua (2014) Many academics believe that "research"

is a field of education appropriate to higher level student's. In my
opinion even kids could be taught to think in terms of research if we
(1) Encourage them to tell their stories and (2) create their awareness
that their stories should be supported by evidence and reasoning. To
these kids, exploring other people's perspectives and emotions and
developing empathy are appropriate to develop their "research"
(difficult word) or "stay telling" interesting word" acumen. Thus, the
research skill should be developed in earlier years and not in collage
years this is a gap in the current education System.
 Debra Sharam Ferdinand James (2015) As a resaerch
supervisor, frequently find that the most challenging part for
the student in the research proposal is the literature Review.
These Include Insufficient coverage of the topic, lack of indepth
analysis, and over use of qoutes.
Miranda Yeoh (2014) I observe among my student's that
they are generally poor to English, and don't take the trouble to
learn. To learn means to takr pains, and most avoid that. So
Later on, they would like to avoid research as well.

• The student don't know the importance and purpose of research because
of that it can cause of lack of awareness.
• They are not peepaeed for the Serious problems on the School means
they are not ready to go in collage.
DEFINITION OF TERMS

RESEARCH - to search or investigate exhaustively research a problem

to do research for research a book.
APPROPRIATE - to take exclusive possession of : annex No one should
appropriate a common benefit.
ACADEMICS - Relating to education and scholarship. Not to practical
relevance of only theoritical interest.
INSUFFICIENT - not sufficient : inadequate insufficient funds; especially :
lacking adequate power, capacity, or competence insufficient bandwidth.
REFERENCE - used or usable for reference; especially : constituting a
standard for measuring or constructing.
FACTORS - to include or admit as a factor — used with in or into factor
inflation into our calculations.
