wildcards makes this an incredibly flexible
solution

• There are some defined by default, in particular

the BBUF Alarms.
• Sent from triggered plot modules in IQs when
nearly full, When IQVISION receives this it will
automatically import the historical data.

• The standard is a series of specifications that define the interface between Clients and Servers, including access to real-time

• Classic OPC was restricted to the Windows operating system, and inherently complex to configure and administer.
• The newer OPC Unified Architecture (UA) is a platform independent service-oriented architecture that integrates all the
functionality of the individual OPC Classic specifications into an extensible framework.
• The OPC UA Driver is contained in the core Niagara framework which IQVISION V2.2 is built on, it uses the OPEN pts
