Mail Merge

- is a software toolkit
that is used to produce
multiple documents with
given template, editing
the basic information
that is supplied by a
structured dataset.
Steps on Using A Mail
Merge:
• Create a dataset with title headings on a
spreadsheet application.
• Create the template of the letter or
document that will receive the dataset in a
word processor.
• Insert the label of customized detail in
the word processor and insert the label that
corresponds to the spreadsheet.
•Select the option preview in the word
processor.

A. Upon setting up the hyperlink, the
selected text will change color and will be
underlined.
B. To follow the hyperlink, hover the
cursor on the hyperlinked text. Then hold
the Ctrl button in the keyboard and left-
click the hyperlink.

A. If you want to update the link, right
click on the linked text, and then select
the Edit Hyperlink from the pop-up box.
B. The same window will appear and
you can readily edit the destination of
the link.

Linking with external websites.
Set the start time for an animation effect

 On the slide, click the text or object that


contains the animation effect for which
you want to set the start timing.
 On the Animations tab, in
the Timing group, do one of the
following:
 To start the animation effect when you click
the slide, select Start On Click.
 To start the animation effect at the same time
as the previous effect in the list (that is, one
click executes multiple animation effects),
select Start With Previous.
 To start the animation effect immediately after
the previous effect in the list finishes playing
(that is, you do not have to click again to make
the next animation effect start), select Start
After Previous.

1.) Anchor Link


-A Hyperlink that points to a
portion of the same document.
2.) Inline Link
-A hyperlink wherein the
content is located in other or
remote files. The link searches
for the path of the document
before displaying it.
