Step by Step
1. Ensure that LAN Cable connects both PC
2. Check IP Address is properly configured on Static and assigned
respectively
3. On sharing options, turn on Network Discovery turn off password
protected sharing
4. Go to Administrative Tools, then Component Services
5. Click on Services, then click on Standard View below
6. Look for the following and double click to see the properties. Check
if they are on Automatic on Startup Style: DNS Client, Function
Discovery Provider Host, Function Discovery Resource Publication,
SSDP Discovery, UPnP Device Host.
7. If the name of the component is in Automatic on Startup Type box,
skip it. If not on Automatic, select it to Automatic, click Start and then
Apply.
8. Do the same changes on the mentioned components to the other
computer.
9. Check if computers are seen through Network, by View Network
Computers and Devices
