Avem Vale
A. Description of How the Product or Service
are Created

I. Fabrication - For Fabrication, most part will be 3D printed using

the Idea Builder 3D Printer

• The Airframe, the fairings, and basically the contour-giving components of the
UAV will be manufactured on-site because these are not manufactured
elsewhere.
• These parts will be printed using G10 FR Glass Epoxy
Laminate

• We’ll use epoxy over nylon, polycarbonate, acrylic

and other common 3D-Printing Filaments or injections
because of its versatility and abundance
Idea Builder, 3D-Printer
Epoxy Filament
Advantages of Epoxy over other filament

• Chemical Resistant
• Very Durable
• Strong
• Low Level of Moisture Absorption
• High Resistance to Electricity
• Extremely tolerant to hot or cold temperatures
I. Fabrication – Structural Members

• For the Structural Members, and other Load-Bearing components

of our UAV, we will be using “PETT” or Polyethelene or
coTrimethelene Terephthalate because it is an industry standard
PETT or Polyethelene
Advantages of Polyethelene as Filament

• Relatively High Strength (Compared to other Filaments)

• Medium Flexibility (Less Britle)
• High Durability
• Ideal for Parts subjected to sudden loads or prolonged stress
II. Outsourcing

• Avem Vale is a starter company; we have not yet established

ourselves in the industry and lacks the experience and resources
for large-scale and complicated production or manufacture.
• For this Reason, it is impractical to manufacture all of the
components that is featured in our end-product. Instead, we will
Outsource those components to manufacturers who are already
producing them and much more efficient cost-wise to produce
them.
• Outsourcing will reduce cost and improve reliability since these
parts are abundant and a specialist manufacturer(s) is/are making
them.
II. Outsourcing - Outsourced Parts

• Propeller: Phantom 9450 Carbon Fibre Propeller

Readily Available & abundant since this model is already being used by
the local drone users
• Motor: T-Model MS2814770kv
Brushless, industry standard
• Battery: 5 200 mAh LiPoly 3S
Suggested battery for the motor
• Motor Driver: Arduino Model L293D
Simple, 16-pin Motor Driver, enough to provide bi-directional drive
currents which meant that it can provide the much needed increase or
decrease in thrust for the propellers
II. Outsourcing - Outsourced Parts

• Chipset: Matek Flying Controller

Enable Remote Controlling
• Sound Emitting Device: Bird-Chase Supersonic
most effective that is currently available in the market
III. Assembly

• The Components will be assembled and Supported using screws

and Fittings
B. Actions or Steps Necessary to deliver the
product or Service to the costumer

• Door-to-Door Service
• Collaboration with Online Resellers such as Lazada, Shopee, and
Ingram Micro
• Freight Forwarders such as LBC, Hankyu Hanshin Express, and RAF
International Forwarding
