Introduction
• A computer game is the application that appropriate to all to make
fast and lessen the work of the individual and essential to use and
vary entertainment. In this generations many of us rely on
computer games for some reason that it can resolve the problems
they have and many of players where interact to the objects and
current events and latest computer games. It make some more
advancement to think and improve in computer skill, but the
opposite things probably it can affects to the user when they
abuse such regulation as primary bad impact to their health.
Background
• Effect of addiction to computer games on physical and mental health for
female and male students, young adult in general.
• This study is aimed investigate the effects of addiction to the online
video and computer games. This study includes students living around
barangay 2, Malaybalay City educational year of 2018-2019. According to
states that video and computer games
is frowned by parents as the time-wasters, and worse. In recent years
about gaming addiction or known as computer game addiction has a bad
affection and increased attention aside from the media, it also from
psychologist. Gaming addiction is not yet classified to the physical and
mental disorder. It becomes more of a concern for parents, spouse,
families and educators.
Methodology
• The study use a description design in the analysis that ensures the
effectiveness and sufficient of rules and regulation to the video and
computer games in Barangay 2, Malaybalay City.
• A stakeholder analysis was used in identifying the stakeholder
groups. The stakeholder in this study include: (1) Young adult who
played computer games. (2) Rent-out or the owner of the
computer shop. (3) Local government unit of barangay council. (4)
National government legislation. (5) Youth in barangay 2,
Ma;aybalay City. (6) Local legislation on the policy. (7) The
community of the barangay.

Recommendations
• 1. First is to increase the penalties from 2,000 pesos increase to 2,500 and
imprisonment from two months increase to three months.

• 2. The local government unit of Barangay Dos with the custody of Barangay
Public Safety Officer (BPSO) should give attention for close monitoring and
institutionalizing the manpower in regulating the shop.

• 3. The Barangay Dos Officials needs installing a Cctv and should have
enough budget for those who violated this ordinance in every computer shop.

• 4. The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) will provide an activities and programs


such as environmental project like three planting and weekly activities like
sports and make task force for the climate change and will provide
entrepreneurship for young adult by subsidy by the Barangay councils and
has a voluntary sector through the youth’s participation and willingness.
