Abstract

• We are creating a social platform for Blood Donors and Receivers

to find or help respectively. In case of emergency local Red Cross
Societies are unable to find donors with appropriate blood group
as per requirement. In order to meet that limitation, we are
creating a web application for creating a medium between Donor
and Needful one as a token of help. We are developing this for
better communication of people.
What is ‘Ties Of Blood’?

• Ties of Blood is a web-app in which we have created a social

interface for people to solve problem regarding blood donating
and a effort towards better medical services.
• A project for easy blood donation system and a project easiest to
use yet secure and fast platform .
Motive Behind Project

• After observing so many cases in hospital, many people suffer

problem of not getting required blood of blood group and in some
cases people died because unavailability of blood in emergency
situations so there we thought that a social platform can be useful
in this problem. There are so many people ready to help other
people but they can’t because they don’t know about needy
people and after they get information, its already late so a social
platform can help in both ways.
Tools We Used In Project

• WordPress Content Management System

• MySQL Database Management System
• VS Studio Code Code Editor
• PHP Server Handling Language
Working of ‘Ties of Blood’

• User can register with a valid Email and contact number and start
finding donors according to his needs.
• People can find donors according to their region and location with
required blood group.
• After finding donor user need to verify their identity with a small
process.
• People can make their profile as donor for helping needy people
out there.
• After completing donating and receiving blood, both person can
give review for further development.
AEIOU Canvas
What is AEIOU?

• AEIOU is an investigation tool to help interpret observation

gathered by ethnographic practices in field. It is an observation
tool. Its two primary functions are to code data, and to develop
building blocks of models that will ultimately address the
objectives and issue of client.
• AEIOU stands for five elements
1. Activity
2. Environment
3. Interaction
4. Object
5. User
Mind Mapping Canvas
Definition of Mind Mapping

• A mind map is a diagram used to visually organize information. A mind

map is hierarchical and shows relationships among pieces of the
whole. It is often created around a single concept, drawn as an image in
the center of a blank page, to which associated representations of ideas
such as images, words and parts of words are added. Major ideas are
connected directly to the central concept, and other ideas branch out
from those major ideas.
• Mind maps can also be drawn by hand, either as "rough notes" during a
lecture, meeting or planning session, for example, or as higher quality
pictures when more time is available. Mind maps are considered to be a
type of spider diagram. A similar concept in the 1970s was "idea sun
bursting".
Ideation Canvas
Ideation Canvas Explanation

• Ideation is the creative process of generating, developing, and

communicating new ideas, where an idea is understood as a basic
element of thought that can be either visual, concrete, or
abstract. Ideation comprises all stages of a thought cycle,
from innovation, to development, to actualization. Ideation can
be conducted by individuals, organizations, or crowds. As such, it
is an essential part of the design process, both in education and
practice.
Empathy Mapping Canvas
Empathy Mapping Solution

• An empathy map is a collaborative tool teams can use to gain a

deeper insight into their customers. Much like a user persona, an
empathy map can represent a group of users, such as a customer
segment. The empathy map was originally created by Dave Gray
and has been gaining popularity with the agile community.
Acknowledgement

• I would like to express my deepest apparition to all those who

provide me the possibility to complete this project. A special
gratitude to our Design Engineering Prof. Kavita Tiwari, whose
contribution in stimulating suggestion and encouragement, helped
us a lot to coordinate our project.
Conclusion

• This web-app will overcome many problems in traditional system

of blood donation and help many people out there. It is free to
use platform so all people can use this free of cost and many lives
can be saved and it will solve problem regarding emergency
situations.
