Are you familiar with your own

reproductive organ?
Reproduction- is the process by which
an organism produces offspring of its
own kind.

Why is reproductive system important?

All living things, especially human

beings, have the ability to reproduce;
that is , they are able to produce more of
their kind. This is the function of the
reproductive system, the system which
enables the continuation of life.
There are two types of reproduction
Sexual – involves two parents
(gametes: male and female sex cells)
Asexual- involve one parent

The human male and female

reproductive system differ in shape
and structure but nevertheless, both
are specifically designed to produce,
nourish, and transport either the
sperm or egg.
1. What body parts is shown here?
2. Where could the structure be found?
3. To what body system does this organ belong?
4. Are the organ of male and female the same?
