IN THE CONTEXT OF STRATEGIC PLANNING OF
CITY DEVELOPMENT
• The city's Smart City project, which involves the introduction of new
technologies into the life of the city, has been created and actively promoted in
the city. Originally, the brand was presented exclusively as a concept for the
development of the tourist component of the city, but today the concept of Smart
City is relevant for the integrated development of Kharkiv as a "smart" city.
• Our goal is to create the image of Kharkiv as a progressive innovative European
city that introduces the latest IT developments and new approaches to urban
planning - creating creative spaces

Kharkiv as a creative city

«ART-campus»
• Is proposed to create a space for creative
entrepreneurship "ART-campus“
• "ART-campus" will be registered as a sole
proprietor on a single tax of the second
group.
• According to the Classifier of types of
economic activity for the CES 2010, the
activity of the creative entrepreneurship
area is 74.90.
• The fairy-tale palace on
Maximilianovskaya Street was chosen for
its location, and 11 was the former
mansion of Professor Somov
• The concept of "ART-campus" is a
creative space that allows you to "create"
free artists who do not have workshops;
find a place to work outside the home for
creative industry workers - designers,
programmers, photographers, etc
The cost of staying in ART-
campus
• First, creative entrepreneurship is attracted by the creative class, which
does not possess rigid characteristics by the nature of activity and money
income, which makes the place of association of the most different
people by age, sex, profession, marital status, etc.
• Secondly, such spaces are the cultural center of the city, which host
exhibitions, cinema shows, concerts and much more.
• Thirdly, creative spaces are multifunctional, as they allow for cultural
and educational activities on their sites. There are also institutions of
different directions - cafes, bars, shops, offices, coworkings.
• Fourthly, creative entrepreneurial spaces often use re-abandoned or
historic buildings, thus helping to wise hollow areas and improving the
appearance of the city by restoring these buildings.
• Fifthly, the scope of creative entrepreneurship provides their area for
small and medium-sized business associations, which has a beneficial
effect on the development of these initiatives.
