INTRODUCTION

1- It is a mobile payment system developed by GOOGLE.

2- It allows its users to store debit cards, credit cards, loyalty
cards and gift cards among other things, as well as redeeming
sales promotion on their mobile phones.

4- For fast, convenient and secure payments GOOGLE PAY uses
near field communication (NFC), wherein the user simply taps
the phone on any PayPass-enabled terminal at checkout.
5- As of January 8, 2018, the old ANDROID PAY and GOOGLE
WALLET have unified into a simple pay system called GOOGLE
PAY.

A stolen debit cards can be used without its PIN but GOOGLE PAY
doesn’t used without a PIN.
Additional security features:
1- GOOGLE PAY stores encrypted user information on a computer
chip called the Secure Element.
2- The Android device itself can be locked with a personal
identification number (PIN).
3- The GOOGLE PAY app requires an additional PIN to activate
the NFC chip antenna.
4- The GOOGLE PAY device must touch or be in close proximity to
a MasterCard PayPass reader.
5- Once the transaction is completed, the antenna is turned off.
Additional transactions require the PIN to be entered again.

1-The service works with the 300,000 plus MasterCard PayPass

merchant locations with Visa licensing their Visa PayWave
system to GOOGLE for use in wallet as of September 20, 2011.

2- On May 15, 2013, GOOGLE announced the integration of

GOOGLE WALLET AND Gmail, allowing users to send money
through Gmail attachments. Like the main service, GOOGLE
Wallets Gmail integration is also currently only available in the
US, to those 18 or older.
