Content
The four major areas of Anthropology, in which Anthropologists
have been trained in, are: Socio cultural Anthropology,
Biological/Physical Anthropology, Archaeological Anthropology
and Linguistic Anthropology.
Social cultural Anthropology: - Socio cultural Anthropology is
the study of human society and culture. It analyses, interprets
and explains the social and cultural similarities and differences
Biological/Physical Anthropology: - It studies the biological and
physical characteristics of humans. Biological anthropologists
seek to understand how humans adapt to diverse environments,
how biological and cultural processes work together to shape
growth, development and behaviour.
Archaeological Anthropology: - Archaeological anthropology is a
branch of anthropology which deals with pre-historic cultures
Linguistic Anthropology: - The branch of Anthropology that
studies human languages is called Linguistic Anthropology

B Sc Occupational Therapy
