• Instagram was created by two college palls back in 2010 only meant for IOS
Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger it started off very small and as the years
went on by it got more and more popular and then in 2012 they sold it too
facebook for $1 billion dollars and after they bought it the values has gone
up 100 times in value.
 WHAT IS INSTAGRAM?
• Instagram
is a social networking service built around sharing photos and videos. It launched in October2010 on iOS first, and became ava
ilable on Android in April 2012.

• Like most social media apps, Instagram allows you to follow users that you're interested in.
• Thiscreates a feed on the homepage showing recent posts from everyone you follow.You can Likeposts and comment on them.

• In addition to posting (usual/ commonly and regular/

healthy) photos and videos, which stay onyour page permanently, Instagram also supports Stories.
• If you've used Snapchat, you'll befamiliar with these. Stories allow you to post one or more photos and video clips in a series. A
nyone can view these for 24 hours, after which they expire.
 WHY WOULD I USE IT?

• You could use Instagram to build a business if you get a big amount of
followers you will become more popular and if you get more popular
important people will start paying attention to you.
