Conclusions
Based on the analyses and findings of this study, the following
conclusions were derived:

1. Majority of the respondents aged 31 to 40 years old, female,

mostly found in public secondary schools in Davao City.

2. The assessment level of the Anti-bullying Act was perceived by

private and public secondary school teachers as strongly agree.

3. The assessment level of Anti-bullying Act yielded the same result

when grouped according to age, gender and types of school.
Recommendations
Based on the above findings and conclusions, some recommendations
were suggested.

1. Teachers should be familiar with the school’s definition of bullying, bullying

prevention policies and the code of conduct to ensure that the same policy
is being enforced throughout the school.

2. If available, attend a bullying training prevention program to learn more

about bullying and to know the obligation as a teacher related to this issue.

3. Educate students on certain issues related to bullying and insure close

supervision to places where most bullying occurs.

4. Involve parents of both bullies and victims in the process to reinforce what is
needed to be helped for a change to the behavior of their child.

5. Future researchers are encouraged to do a study about the topic in another

locale to confirm and compare the findings.
