Analyze figure of speech, Hyperbole and Irony.

-Signifies the opposite of what is

*It’s a secret, so only half of

GROUP ACTIVITY
Group Activity rules:
1.Go to your respective places quietly.
2. Only leaders will come in front and get the task
and materials.
3. Work quietly.
4. Cooperate with your group.
5. Make your yells as soon as the task is done and
leaders will post and report their work on the board.
6. Go back to your seats quietly.
GENERALIZATION:
What is Hyperbole?
Hyperbole -deliberates an
obvious exaggeration.
What is Irony?
Irony -signifies the opposite
of what is being said.
APPLICATION
GUESSING GAME:

The class will be divided into two groups, the first group will read the
No. 1 sentence and the second group will be the one to guess the
answer, after the first group, the second group will read the no. 2
sentence and the first group will guess the answer and vice versa until
the last sentence. The group who has the highest score will be the
winner.
