These patterns lead to waves characterized by different amplitudes and frequencies. • The signal generated by brain was received by the brain sensor and it will divide into packets and the packet data transmitted tthrough wireless medium. It is converted into signal using MATLAB gui platform and sent to the home section to operate the appliances. EMBEDDED TECHNOLOGY • The Embedded Technology is now in its prime and the wealth of knowledge available is mind-blowing. Embedded technology plays a major role in integrating the various functions associated with it. • This proposal greatly reduces the manpower, saves time and operates efficiently without human interference. • This project puts forth the first step in achieving the desired target. With the advent in technology, the existing systems are developed to have in built intelligence. BLOCK DIAGRAM HARDWARE REQUIRED

• The root of all our thoughts, emotions and behaviours is the
communication between neurons within our brains. • Brainwaves are produced by synchronised electrical pulses from masses of neurons communicating with each other. • Brainwaves are detected using sensors placed on the scalp. • Our brainwaves change according to what we’re doing and feeling. • When slower brainwaves are dominant we can feel tired, slow, sluggish, or dreamy. • The higher frequencies are dominant when we feel wired, or hyper- alert. CLASSIFICATION MIND WAVE SENSOR MIND WAVE SENSOR • The MindWave headset turns your computer into a brain activity monitor. • The headset safely measures brainwave signals and monitors the attention levels of individuals as they interact with math, memory and pattern recognition applications. • The forehead sensor detects electrical signals from the brain. • The ear clip acts as a ground and reference, which filters out all of the electrical noise from the body and the ambient environment, and hone in on brainwaves. It is a 40 Pin dual inline package. Controller operated in 5v dc. PIN DIAGRAM OF PIC16F877A POWER SUPPLY UNIT
•All electronic circuits works only in low DC voltage, so we need a
power supply unit to provide the appropriate voltage supply for their proper functioning . •This unit consists of transformer, rectifier, filter & regulator. CIRCUIT DIAGRAM OF POWER SUPPLY WORKING OF POWER SUPPLY • The ac Voltage, typically 220V RMS is connected to a transformer, which steps that ac voltage down to the level of desired dc output. • A diode rectifier then provides a full-wave rectified voltage that is initially filtered by a simple capacitor filter to produce a dc voltage. • This resulting dc voltage usually has some ripple or ac voltage variation. • A regulator circuit removes the ripples and also remains the samw dc value even if the input dc voltage varies,or the load connected to the output dc voltage changes. • This voltage regulation is usually obtained using one of the popular voltage regular IC units RELAY
Relay consists of two circuits
• Control circuit (1-3) The control circuit has a small coil. • Load circuit (2-4) The load circuit has a switch. WORKING OF RELAY
• When no voltage is applied to pin 1, there is no current flow through
the coil.No current means no magnetic field is developed, and the switch is open. When the voltage is supplied to pin 1, current flow coil creates the magnetic field needed to close the switch allowing continuity between pins 2 and 4. MPLAB IDE • MPLAB Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is a free, integrated toolset for the development of embedded applications on Microchip's PIC and dsPIC microcontrollers. PROTEUS • Proteus is a Virtual System Modelling (VSM) that combines circuit simulation, animated components and microprocessor models to co- simulate the complete microcontroller based designs. • It is the perfect tool for engineers to test their microcontroller designs before constructing a physical prototype in real time. • This program allows the user to interact using on screen indicators, on LED and LCD displays and if attached to the PC’s, switches and buttons.
