techniques and performance practices in his
locality;

of creation;
3. Incorporate contemporary characteristics to
one's creation with attention to details; and

"It's simple, people produce works, and we
do what we can with them, we use them for
ourselves."(Serge Daney)

Integrated Arts
Local setting, schools in the
primary, secondary and tertiary
levels have their curricular an
integration of the arts that aims
to enrich the teaching- learning
process
Integrated Arts Production
• Is for artists whose interest is crossing
boundaries between media and/or
disciplines. This usually involves the use of
two or more disciplines in
producing/creating a work for a specific
audience. The practice may involve
interdisciplinary art , art research ,
development , production, prrsentation of
an artistic work production.
Production Planning
• According to Ray Wild, "Production
planning is concerned with the
determination, acquisition ans
arrangement of all facilities
necessary for future operations.
The following discussion
may further argument this
knowledge before the
actual task.
• Know the difference between arts and crafts.
The process of making art and process of
making crafts are related, but different
activities.
Painting a picture and sewing a dress show us
that arts and crafts are really different.
While art is an "unstructured" activity, crafts
are goal oriented and "structured"
• Separate the process of art from the product of
art. People enjoy both the process and the
product of art. One of the main goals of an art
activity is to help the person experience the joy
of creativity. Adult artists usually focus on the
process of arts, while young artists often are
concerned with the product.
• Arts and crafts develop different
developmental skills. Art acticities
develop feelings skills and promote self-
expression.
• Craft activities develop thinking,
relating, and coordinating skills.
• Know the theory of learning by doing. Arts and
crafts offer endless opportunities to learn by
doing. Brain researchers tell us that an
individual retain more information when
hands-on activities go along with that
learning.
• Know your creative potentials. The potential
for creativity is the act of making something
aesthetically new and original.
When the students are prepared to
come up with their own production,
the following reminders will aid them
in their artistic journey:
• Create a Pleasant Work Environment. A
pleasant environment is clean, organized and
uncluttered. The space should have good
ventilation and lighting.
• Spare a few moments each day to oook
closely at the surroundings, Take notice of
how light affects wherethe shadow falls.
Observe colors and tones.
• Practice makes perfect. Although
perfection is impossible to reach in art,
practicing everyday will help improve
artistic abilities.
• Form a concept of the work before
starting the project.
• Composition it is the aesthetic arrangement and
placement of objects on the picture plane.
• Be aware of other artists works.
• Never stop learning.
• Who knows with enough conviction.
