 Determine the quality and quantity of reservoir rock properties


(shale volume, porosity and water saturation) from log data with
analytical method and Petrophysic software.

 Enable us to apply Petrophysic Software (IP 3.6) to run

 Using Plot Analysis:
 a, m value: based on graphic formation factor vs porosity
 n value value: based on graphic resitivity Index vs water saturation

 Using Chart Gen 4 to convert NaCl Equivalent to get Multiplier value.
 Multiplier value will be use to find effective solid concentration.
 Using Chart Gen 5 or 9
 Effective solid concentration will be use as an input data in above chart to
find Rw value.

Conclusions
 Based on Petrophysic analysis (analytical
& Software) shows sand a good reservoir
quality and potentially oil bearing zone.
 Sand A is the best reservoir quality
compare to other sand.
