 WHAT IS LFT-D PANEL?
“LFT-D Panel : Long Fiber-Reinforced Thermoplastic by Direct Compounding”

“L Panel” Long Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic by Direct Compounding is a

concrete slab mould that replaces Plywood and Coated Phenolic Board

 LFT-D PANEL PROCESS
The reinforcement of resin which is the polypropylene in the primary extruder and the
reinforcement of glass fiber in the secondary extruder create the product to produce better
performance in tone and duration of service.

POLYPROPELENE also known as polypropene is under the family of thermoplastic

polymers used in a wide variety of applications and unusually resistant to many chemical solvents,
bases and acids. PP is a light colored naphthenic mineral oil with adequate body to seal and
separate wooden and steel forms from concrete.

Density : 0.855 g/cm3 amorphous / 0.946g/cm3 crystalline
Melting Point : 130 to 171𝑑𝑒𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑒 C. (266 to 340𝑑𝑒𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑒 F; 403 to 444 K)
Maximum Temp. : 275𝑑𝑒𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑒 F. – 135 𝑑𝑒𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑒 C.
Minimum Temp. : 32 𝑑𝑒𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑒 F. – 0 𝑑𝑒𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑒 C.
Tensile Strength : 4,500 psi.
CHARACTERISTICS OF LFT-D PANEL
1. INCREASE THE REUSE TIME
Remarkably increased reuse time compare to plywood
and coated phenolic board. Improved concrete surface
quality.

2.EXELLENCY IN STRENGTH
Less damage on the corner and the surface due to
structure optimized design. Satisfaction of required
strength in concrete mould.
 3. EASY TO CONSTRUCT AND REMOVE (EXTRACT)
Interchangeable structure with other concrete moulds,
10%~15% lighter than plywood, No need to use mould
remover.

4. WELL-LIGHTED CHARACTERISTIC

No need to use other illumination (improve efficiency

and operational safety) due to natural color
(translucency).
