INTRODUCTION
SO , The Advantages
The K-12 program, or the Kindergarten and the 12 years of elementary and
secondary education, has been brought to attention sincere its first year of
Implementation. Critics say that its implementation could only worsen the
issue on education in the country. Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, a known critic
of the program, said that the country appears to be unprepared for K-12 due
to inadequacy in resources, tools, classroom, etc. (cited in Reyes, 2015).
However, Armin Luistro (2013) admitted that “The Philippines is having a bit
of difficulty because there are things that we really are rushing and cramming
about which we should have done earlier” (cited in Geronimo, 2013). With
this, it is clear that the country is not ready for such integration and there is
much work that need.
