MAGIS @ 50 STATEMENT
 The Christian Life Community of Zamboanga – Camino Nuevo
CLC, Ateneo de Zamboanga University CLC, Ateneo de Zamboanga
Senior High School YCLC, and Ateneo de Zamboanga Junior High
School YCLC – with a deep sense of gratitude to the Lord for all His
graces and blessings, with an acceptance of our weaknesses and
limitations, also acknowledging our strengths and gifts, we come
together as one community in Christ, rooted in Ignatian Spirituality,
moving towards fulfilling God’s mission for us – wherever He may
lead us, we will follow Him. With the tools of discernment and
prayer, we seek to love and serve the Lord in all things. Our
response for magis is to develop a deeper sense of mission in the
four frontiers – globalisation-poverty, family, youth and ecology, and
to live out the CLC way of life as contemplatives in action,
responding to the call for magis particularly in the Western Mindanao
and Zamboanga Peninsula region, as our offering for nation building,
and as builders of God’s kingdom.
