 INTRODUCTION

Surat’s first electric flour mill was started by Mr.Ahmedali

Fazalbhai Vankani and he used to process all kinds of flour
varieties which were wheat, jowar, bajra, etc. Two brothers
Mr Akbarali Vankani and Mr.Ahmedali Fazalbhai Vankani
the next generation carried on the Vankani legacy, who
entered the business with rich quality spices like red chilli
powder, Salem Haldi etc. slowly after the year of research
trial and error Mr.Amjadali Vankani came up with a new line
of spices which would simplify every household cooking
needs instant spices under the brand name Rich N Spicy.
Over the year the brand has evolved and now there are over
1000 varieties and more are getting added every year.

street, surat-395003(India). It has manufacturing plant
as well as retail store together.It is located near a
famous women market name as chota.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
The inventory management process
In inventory management, goods are delivered into the
receiving area of a warehouse in the form of raw
materials or components and are put into stock areas
or shelves. The goods are then pulled from the stock
areas and moved to production facilities where they
are made into finished goods. The finished goods may
be returned to stock areas where they are held prior to
shipment, or they may be shipped directly to
customers.
SAFETY STOCK
Safety stock = (maximum usage rate – average usage

In city masala as per demand the stocks are maintained
during season when lot is prepared e.g. 100kg of

equipment’s such as a guided vehicles, robots, conveyors,
automotive, crane must be used for the various gears and
different type of usage moving parts in order to avoid any kind of
physical contact with these parts when the operation is being
performed.
• In order to avoid the accident over traveling of loaded block,
limit switch must be installed in all hoisting device.
• City masala used first aid box and had a personal doctor in case
of any accident occur worker get free treatment.
• Wooden sockets are arranged for those who handle machines so
that shock kind of circumstance doesn’t occur
